Installation requires simply cleaning the tank surface with isopropyl alcohol, peeling the protective backing, and applying firm pressure from the center outward. The bond resists engine heat and rain, yet can be removed cleanly with gentle warming without residue or paint damage.

Full-grain leather is naturally rugged. To maintain its suppleness against road dust and monsoon rain, simply wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth after long tours and apply a natural beeswax or leather balm once every few months.

How do leather tank pads perform in the rain and monsoons?
Our leather is pre-treated with water-resistant natural balms. If soaked during heavy monsoon riding, allow the pad to air-dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heating. Periodic application of natural leather balm restores water resistance.
How long does the adhesive take to cure after installation?
We recommend allowing 24 hours of curing at room temperature after installation before washing your motorcycle or embarking on high-speed highway rides.
